In the early ’90s, Life of Agony emerged as a pure Hardcore Metal band. With their debut River Runs Red, they built a devoted fan base through relentless touring and strong word of mouth, relying little on MTV or radio exposure. By the time of their second release, Ugly (1995), the group shifted direction—blending their Hardcore roots with the melodic Alternative Rock influences of bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains.
Soul Searching Sun is now available as a numbered, limited edition of 1,000 copies on gold-colored vinyl, complete with a six-page insert.
