Body Count „Carnivore“ LP reissue

Noisy Plastics Records and Backbite Records are releasing a limited vinyl repress of the 2020 Body Count album "Carnivore". Like the previous album, the seventh studio album by the rap-metal band fronted by Ice-T is much heavier musically than their early records and is packed with Slayer-like guitar riffs. When it comes to lyrics, provocation and politically incorrect remarks are always on the agenda. But on this album, Ice-T is far more explicit and angry, covering a wide range of topics like black-on-black crime, police violence, gang culture etc. That's how Body Count have always been and that's unlikely to change. To top it all off, the album features lots of special guests such as Riley Gale (Power Trip R.I.P.), Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Amy Lee (Evanescence), who can be heard on one of the album's highlight tracks, "When I'm Gone".

Noisy Plastics Records und Backbite Records veröffentlichen eine limitierte Vinyl Nachpressung des 2020er Body Count Albums „Carnivore“. Das 7. Studio Album der Rap-Metal Band um Fronter Ice-T kommt wie bereits der Vorgänger musikalisch deutlich härter rüber als die Scheiben der Anfangsjahre und es gibt reichlich Slayer-like Gitarren-Riffs. Textlich ist Ice-T mehr als deutlich und mit wütenden Lyrics werden reichlich Themen abgearbeitet. Black-on-black Crime, Polizeigewalt, Gang Culture usw. Immer mit reichlich Provokation und politisch unkorrekten Spitzen gespickt. So waren Body Count schon immer und das wird sich wohl auch nicht ändern. Als i-Tüpfelchen gibts reichlich Feature Gäste wie Riley Gale (Power Trip R.I.P.), Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) und Amy Lee (Evanescence) die bei „When I’m Gone“ auf einem der Highlight Tracks des Albums zu hören ist.
Die LP erscheint in einer Auflage von insgesamt 500 Kopien die sich auf verschiedene streng limitierte Farbversionen verteilen.
